A taste of freedom…

This week the government has said we can start to ease the lock-down. Personally I think it is a bit early, but everyone has their own opinion.

I am on day three of a caffeine detox and I am cranky. Even my muse has said nope, go chill lol  Thankfully I still have two weeks to finish working with Mason. So today I am only doing the online stuff and then  I am having a chill out day.
I digress…
Yes , the lock-down has been eased, some of my neighbours have rushed off to the pub, others have started to see family and friends. I have done the latter.

I had a lovely visit with my Grand-babies earlier in the week and a coffee at home with an old friend. I am one of the fortunate ones, he may come out of lock-down with no job! It was hard to hear what a bad time of it he was having but I did what any good friend would do. I made a bucket of coffee and I listened.

Writing has been my saviour in so many ways. I am blessed to have something I love to do as my job, even if I am not raking the money in. I knew it would take time to build my online presence again after I found I love writing new adult, & contemporary romance. We all grow and change over the years. I have as I said been blessed to be doing what I love and I am looking forward to connecting with others of a like mind as myself. Not sure how my writing will go down at University when I start in September but I am not ashamed of what I do! So I will not be hiding it 😉

With us being on  lock-down, I have not really been any place to do anything that is exactly blog worthy. Although I will admit, my introverted self has loved it.
Hopefully in the next year that will all change, but until it does so this is one cranky detoxing coffee addict who is staying in her creative corner for as much time as is physically possible.
I hope you are all keeping well!

Toodles for now, Caroline xoxo
