Blurb

The Gehenna warriors are a noble breed of demons, willing to leave the comforts of living in Gehenna. They keep the human population safe from supernaturals with lethal intentions.
Barrow is joining the team at short notice. He has to help stop a supernatural from taking women and using them for unspeakable acts of torture and cruelty.
Evangeline is his next target. Will the warriors be able to save her? And if so, what have the fates in store for her?

Snippet

It is a Friday night and the place is heaving. Barrow has no idea why this would appeal to the humans, that is until he walks into one of the clubs. The base is thrumming through the place and they are bumping and grinding against one another. The voice in his ear is Duke’s. ‘They call it dancing. I have been told it can be fun. A few of the guys come down here in their downtime.

Making his way in further he scans the room. No sign of Detlef, but his tracker says he is here somewhere. They are good to about fifty meters. He must be close. Bjarni’s voice comes over the comms. I have spotted him. He is at the bar talking to some young woman. Barrow, he is almost in front of you. Make your way across the room and you will see him. If you get the girl out of the way. I will double team with Duke and grab him.

As carefully as they can they push through the revelers making their way towards the target. Barrow sees the girl for the first time, he growls, and Duke is there at his side. What is it? All Barrow can say is mine. Bjarni’s voice is on the comms once more. ‘Did he say what I think he did. That complicates it. Duke get Detlef away from her otherwise we are going to have more trouble than we can handle. Boys, it’s a code red. Get your ass in here stat.’
