It is true. Sunday just ran away from me and now I find myself in my workspace on a chilly Monday morning writing this blog post.
But… better late than never

Just a teasing taster 🙂
Entering boldly, Angel walks up to John holding out her hand in greeting. Even though her stomach is in knots, she keeps a calm manner on the exterior. He takes an unintended step back, but takes her hand and shakes it. Angel heard somewhere that you can tell a lot from a person’s handshake. A good firm handshake should mean a confident and capable person. He looks at her a little wide-eyed.
“You are so like your mother. The way you stand, so sure of yourself,” he narrows his eyes at her and pulls her in slightly. “I bet underneath all that calm, cool shell, the butterflies are rolling around in your stomach.”
Angel stands there slack jawed, while Archie laughs. “He has your number, my dear Angel. John was your mother’s friend, as well as her protector. Remember your bond with Roger, they had the same.”
A look of sadness crosses John’s face and he releases her hand. Angel feels her stomach plummet at the mention of her mother, and feels bad for him. Her bond with Roger is strong even though he is hundreds of miles away. She can feel it there, like a safety blanket she cherishes. The thought of losing it now terrifies her.
Protecting the Family Blurb
Angel has completed the metamorphosis. Found and lost her mother soon after. Has discovered the rest of her family are not what she dreamt about as a child. Her half-brother Erick wishes to kill her, and her Father is a suspected supporter of the Junta, and not a good man. The only one remotely sane is her half-sister Minuet. Who they soon discover is the fated mate of Angel’s close friend Jack, who helped her through the change, but left just when she needed him the most.
Angel has found her fated mate, he’s not just any Vampire. He is Dorian Winters, head of the Vampire council.
Angel never one to shrink away from a challenge. She will have her man, and has plans to join the Desory. Her ambition, to help protect the supernatural community, and the people she has come to know and love in such a short time.
At last, even with all the turmoil, Angel feels like she belongs. No one is going to take this away from her, or will they?
There is another member of her blood family she has no idea even exists. He is going to come into her life like a tornado.
Will there be a happy ever after for her? Will she become the warrior she so desperately wants to be? Or will she give up everything, and the man she loves to protect her Family…
